A bride vanished on her wedding day as both her family and the groom’s family gathered on the Friday, 13th of May for the wedding ceremony in New Bussa, Niger state, when they noticed that the bride was missing.
When her friends were asked, they said the bride has hinted at going to hide for a while as she was not interested in getting married.
Both families held a secret meeting and agreed that the younger sister of the bride be given to the groom in marriage.
The marriage proceeded as planned with a change in bride and the new bride is said to be pleased with her “God-given” husband.
