The presidential adviser to the President Buhari on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Ita Enag, has tendered his resignation letter, in other for him to contest for his Akwa Ibom state governorship.
Enag was the specials assistant to the President Buhari on National Assembly (Senate) between 2015-2019 and subsequently, his adviser on Niger Deltas Affairs from 2019 till his resignation.
A statement he puts forward reads;
“The time has come. I intend to contest for the governorship of Akwa Ibom state on the platform of our party, the APC, for which I now seek nomination, having purchased and submitted the nomination and expression of interest forms.
I hereby formally tender my resignation from office, to pursue gubernatorial electoral cause’
